August 16, 2008 Kelleys Island Homecoming Parade 11 a.m.
August 23, 2008 Picnic on the Farm, hosted by Erie County Sheriff Terry Lyons and Former State Representative Fred Deering, at the home of Margaret and Fred Deering, 9610 Ransom Road, Monroeville, OH. BBQ chicken and other side dishes served; $10 per person, $15 for couples and $20 for a family. RSVP requested but not required at 419-626-9073. 4:30-7:30 p.m.
